THE COMPANY

Raven Dance company is an innovative all female Irish Show Dance troupe based in London, which was established by former Lord of the Dance Irish Dance professional Róisín Mullins in 2007. The company's powerful performances fuse Irish Dance with exotic forms such as Middle Eastern Dance, Latin Dance, Indian Kathak Dance and Flamenco.

Led by soloist Róisín Mullins, the company's stunning dancers are considered to be some of the world's finest, with biographies which include performances at the World Irish Dancing Championships, and worldwide tours with Michael Flatley's Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. 

Enticing and exotic, the dancers mystify and command their audiences with exquisite lines and electrifying celtic rhythms.  Raven Dance Company is an empowering twenty-first century take on Irish Show Dance, which forefronts the female.

The company have performed at the engagement party of PR Guru Max Clifford, and alongside Television Entertainers Des O'Connor, Bobby Davro, Ronnie Corbett, and X-Factor 2008's Daniel Evans. They have appeared on Ant and Dec's new show Push the Button on ITV1, where Róisín Mullins was partnered with Declan Donnelly in a Riverdance sketch, backed by Raven (to watch a clip of the performance go to:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWvVUYVDNvQ ). They have also danced alongside professionals and celebrities from the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, including Kristina Rihanoff and Joe Calzaghe, Brian Fortuna and Ally Bastian, Phil Tufnell and Katya Virshilas, and Izabela Hannah, as well as Vincent Simone and Flavia Caccace on the Vincent and Flavia Fantasia Tour 2010.

Company performances have taken place at The NEC Birmingham, London's O2 Arena, The London Olympia, The London Hop Exchange (for a clip of this performance please go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b36wnFU50j0 ), Epsom Downs Racecourse, Mercedes Benz World, The Grosvenor House Hotel London, and the Hotel Intercontinental London. The company have also represented Irish Dance at Move-It, the UK National Dance Exhibition, and performed at The Rose of Tralee, Big Dance London, and The Southwark Irish Festival. They also appear annually at the London St.Patrick's Day celebrations as representatives for the Irish National Press

The company have in addition performed for leading UK charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, at their prestigious annual ball on Park Lane, and Cancer Research UK at the Regent Street Festival, where they supported the 'Join the Fight for Women's survival against Breast Cancer' campaign.The company also regularly perform at prestigious corporate and private events all over the UK, and at regional festivals.

The company's work has been highly acclaimed in the National press, with the company having made appearances on TV and radio, featured on ITV's London Tonight, and filmed at Pinewood Studios for ITV1.
